Group Placement

Silver Lining Preschool recognizes that children learn best when they are allowed to set their own pace. To best accommodate every child’s individual needs, we have implemented a system which allows children to set their own pace without the undo pressure of meeting pre-set age standards. Once your child has been enrolled in our center, we will use our professional judgment and experience to place your child in a group of compatible peers.

We take into context not only the academic needs of your child, but the social and emotional needs as well. Knowing that you want your child to have the best preschool experience possible, we thank you in advance for letting your child set his or her own pace. Your child will move to another group when our experienced staff feels that your child will benefit most from the activities of another group. There are no “high” or “low” groups, just a fun variety of groups to help your child grow to his or her full potential in a safe, comfortable environment.

Preschooler

Our Philosophy at Silver Lining Preschool is to give children a feeling of security and safety so they can gain a feeling of independence and confidence through programs that offer age-appropriate learning and playing.

Clothing & Safety
While at Silver Lining, your child will want to play and be creative. Silver Lining believes that all children should be allowed to express themselves, and this usually means that your child will be getting messy. Please dress your child in comfortable and safe play clothes as all children like to experiment with texture while painting and playing.

The safety of our children is our #1 priority. We ask that you please make sure your child wears shoes that fit properly, and will not slip off while climbing, or playing.

Field Trips
We take full advantage of our community resources and have visitors from different occupations visit our school. To coordinate with our monthly themes, we also go on "field trips".  Educational and fun, just the way we like it! If you would like to volunteer to assist on a field trip, please let us know, as your participation is always welcome.
